Communications:
1030 Expert has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and has over 12 years of experience in the telecommunications field. His field of work includes cellular, two-way paging systems and wireless home LAN systems. He has been responsible for firmware, hardware, software and systems engineering for products for the GPRS market. He has recently been involved in the formation of a new company to develop wireless network infrastructure for 802.11. He has six patents and has been involved in two expert witness engagements, including one that generated a positive outcome verdict for over $100m. He has expertise and is able to serve as an expert witness in the following: Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication Protocols, Wireless Equipment Hardware and Software Design and Implementation, DSL technology, Coding Techniques, OSI Layers, and Network Operations 1227 Expert has a Ph.D. and has been active as a professional engineer for over fifteen years. In that time he has taught at a world renowned university, provided consulting services to numerous corporations around the world and acted as an expert witness in multiple engagements. His current research focuses on leveraging emerging technologies to improve the characteristics of embedded systems, particularly for communications. This research has involved communications protocols, high-level synthesis, computer architecture, micro-architecture, compilers, memory systems and applications. He is able to serve as an expert in these fields and other areas requiring communications and computer architecture expertise such as low power systems, high performance compilers, reconfigurable computers, and field programmable gate arrays (FPGA’s). 1266 Expert has corporate business executive and entrepreneurial experience in designing and implementing successful telecommunications marketing and public relations campaigns in the US and globally; a history of involvement in entrepreneurial ventures; experienced in general management, public relations and marketing in the telecommunications industry; a reputation for being a self-starting, highly motivated and innovative entrepreneur and manager; published author, editor and publisher; strong managerial and communications skills; conversant in Spanish, German and Italian, and social skills in other languages. He is currently Editor-in Chief of a publication devoted to the prepaid telecom industry and writes for Phone+, Intelecard News, Telecom Business and Communications Week. As a telecommunications industry analyst he has expertise to serve as an expert witness in the matters concerning marketing & sales in the industry. He has consulted on 10 cases and been deposed in three of those. |
