Integrated Circuit Design:
1002 Expert has over 40 years of experience in the design of semiconductor products and has a Ph.D. in Computers and Communications. Flash, EEPROM, C Packaging, Semiconductor Process, Plasma Etch and CVD. 1015 Expert is a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at a nationally-known university. He has crafted numerous publications dealing with system architectures, data communication networks, and computer performance issues. His industry experience includes formerly a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs. He has previous expert witness experience. He has expertise and is able to serve as an expert witness in the following: Digital Signal Processing Architectures, General Purpose Computer Architectures, VLSI Design, Computer Graphics, Memory system architecture, DRAM, SRAM, EEPROM, and Flash memory. 1018 Expert has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, is a Professional Engineer with 20 years of industry experience, and is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering. His previous employers include Micron Technology and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories. His work experience includes designing CMOS circuits for DRAM, phase-locked loops for embedded graphics chips, voltage references and regulators, field-emitting display drivers, and low power/high speed CMOS imaging chips. His academic courses include analog, digital, VLSI, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and custom CMOS design. He has over 20 patents. The Expert has also provided depositions and expert witness testimony in areas ranging from delay-locked loop design to fire alarm wiring. Most of his expert witness experience has been in CMOS analog, digital, and memory circuit design. He has been a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Group Leader for Extreme UV Lithography at a major California university for over 10 years. His research interests include: deep sub-micron silicon VLSI technology, fabrication, and device physics; Extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography; Optical metrology; Interferometry and Fourier optics; and ultrafast carrier dynamics in electronic materials. He previously worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories for 13 years as a researcher and group leader responsible for optical and laser science, and later for creating technologies relevant to silicon IC manufacturing for a horizon of the next ten years. His numerous major research accomplishments include development of small nanometer gate-length MOSFET devices and MOS devices fabricated with ultraviolet lithography. He has 3 patents and has prior expert witness experience from 8 previous engagements. He has expertise and is able to serve as an expert witness in the following: Device Physics, Nanotechnology, Laser Technology, Microchip Fabrication, Optics, Semiconductor Physics, Semiconductor Process, and VLSI Technology. 1040 Expert has over 30 years of experience in electrical engineering, integrated circuit, and microcontroller design.
