2447 Expert has over 35 years of academic, industrial R&D, and consulting experience. He holds a PhD in Physics and his research was in atomic, electronic, and optical physics under Nobel Laureate John L. Hall at JILA, where, along with his basic research, he first began to develop software and computer graphic models of instrument design and function. He later joined a manufacturer of analytical mass spectrometers, where he directed development of specialized instruments for industrial process control, space applications, drug and explosives detection, and basic research in the physical, chemical, and medical sciences. His current research includes - sensor devices to instruments to AI-based software, from both hands-on and theoretical perspectives -addresses applications that include fundamental robotics, remote inspection, homeland security, planetary exploration, and human-robot interaction. He holds multiple patents and is extensively published, he has prior expert witness experience.
